If you want to be a full, active member with a leadership role, Level III is the highest level of participation. If you wanted to be more passive, minimum training etc, choose Level I. All members need to identify at which level they wish to participate in the Corps. Levels of participation will be listed in the KCDEM database. We welcome Corps members to move at any time to a higher or lower level of participation.
Core Competencies represent the baseline level of knowledge and skills that all MRC volunteers should have. Because the core competencies establish a minimum standard, volunteers may choose to expand on the competencies in order to be prepared at a more advanced level. Competencies will be based on the Levels of Participations.
