MRC On-Line Training

Pilot Project - Start date - July 23, 2007 - Online MRC Orientation - Online orientation is designed for those MRC members who do not choose to, or cannot physically come to an orientation and/or do not want to wait for the next scheduled MRC Orientation which is held quarterly throughout our region.

All MRC volunteers are required to take the following on-line training:

  • Volunteer Orientation - Includes the Strategic National Stockpile PowerPoint
  • Bloodborne Pathogens – Note: (this training is waived if you have documentation showing that you have completed any bloodborne pathogen training in the past three years).

Each course has a self-study guide as well as a PowerPoint presentation. Once you have reviewed the course material, you will need to take the two short on-line tests.  Please follow all instructions.

At the end of the orientation, please download and print the following:

  • "Receipt of Handbook"
  • “Photo Consent”

Complete and sign these forms and either mail to Kitsap Co. Dept. of Emergency Management and/or fax to (360) 478-9802 so they may become part of your volunteer record.

This online orientation is new and we would like to obtain feedback from you on your experience with it.  Please complete form, download and mail or fax to Emergency Management.

Our sincere thanks for taking this online training!
