During an emergency situation, transportation volunteers can provide the resources needed to get people out of difficult areas which may not navigable by traditional means. These resources may include:

• 4-wheel drive vehicles
• Boats
• ATV's (all terrain vehicles)
• Motorcycles
• Snowmobiles
• Small planes

Transportation used for official evacuation purposes is coordinated by KCDEM officials. This would include Kitsap Transit busses and other transit vehicles, which may include both public and private busses and other transit vehicles.
