Take The Quiz

Take the emergency preparedness quiz to discover how prepared you are for any emergency or disaster event. It is important that you and your family are prepared for at least 3 days.

Have you stored 1 gallon of water per person per day?
Have you stored at least a 3-day supply of non-perishable foods?
Did you stored food and water for your pet(s)?
Do you have two first aid kits—one for home and one for your car?
Did you include at least one complete change of clothing and footwear for each person with your emergency supplies ?
Did you include with your emergency supplies bedding such as sleeping bags, pillows and blankets?
Did you include with your food and water supplies paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils?
Did you include games to help keep your family occupied?
Did you include important family documents?
Did you pack a portable radio and extra batteries?
Do you know the Emergency Alert Radio Stations for the Puget Sound area?

If you answered yes to all of the above questions you may be prepared for any hazard including a terrorist event.

Check on your shelter in place plans. You may need to add these procedures to your emergency kit. Choose a room in your home or business that will fit your family, and yes, even a few neighbors or clients visiting the day you need to shelter.

If you answered no to the above questions, we suggest you prepare now! Earthquakes can happen anytime. If you get ready for an earthquake you are also getting ready for a terrorism event.
